Tomorrow afternoon would work…
RECEIVED ON WHATSAPP · RETRIEVED ONLY WHEN YOU ASK
Bring received WhatsApp messages into your secure dashboard and API workflows.
SMSMobileAPI lets you deliberately request a synchronization window for a connected WhatsApp account. Once requested, eligible received messages are recovered into your private dashboard history and can be retrieved through the WhatsApp API for your own systems.
Retrieval is opt-in and time-limited: you decide when SMSMobileAPI may check for new received messages.
Hello, can you help me with my booking?
Tomorrow afternoon would work for me.
{ "message": "…" }Your decision first
No retrieval window is opened until you request synchronization from the dashboard or API.
One protected workspace
Review recovered messages by contact, date and received time inside your own dashboard account.
Ready for your tools
Use the documented API to retrieve recovered data in a CRM, support, reporting or automation workflow.
HOW RECEIVED WHATSAPP RETRIEVAL WORKS
A privacy-aware path from WhatsApp to your business tools.
WhatsApp messages stay on the connected account until you explicitly request a time-limited synchronization. That request puts the account into the retrieval flow. The reader then recovers eligible received messages and stores them in your account history for review or API use.

- 2You request synchronization→
- 3Secure retrieval flow checks new messages→
- 4Dashboard and API make recovered data usable
FOUR CLEAR STEPS
Start with a controlled synchronization, not an always-on import.
- 01
Connect WhatsApp securely
Open WhatsApp Config in the dashboard and complete the connection with the QR code when requested.
- 02
Enable incoming message collection
Activate retrieval for this connected WhatsApp account. You can turn it off at any time.
- 03
Request a synchronization window
Use the dashboard button or the synchronization API endpoint to explicitly ask for a new retrieval period.
- 04
Review or retrieve the result
Open Retrieve log to filter recovered conversations, or call the documented API from your own software.
YOUR RETRIEVE LOG
Review every recovered message with the context that matters.
The secure dashboard presents the newest recovered WhatsApp messages first. You can see which contacts have messages available, filter the complete log by contact and review the received date and time without exposing one account’s activity to another.
- All contacts by default, or one selected conversation
- Newest recovered messages first
- Received timestamp, sender and message content retained together
- Collection state and synchronization expiry always visible

ONE CONNECTED WHATSAPP ENVIRONMENT
Need to send WhatsApp messages too?
This page explains how to retrieve incoming messages. SMSMobileAPI also lets you send WhatsApp messages from the same connected environment, through the dashboard or documented API.
DOCUMENTED REST API
Use recovered WhatsApp messages in your own application.
The REST API keeps the request explicit. First create a synchronization window, then retrieve the recovered history. Your API key stays private on your server—never place it in browser code, a public URL, screenshot or client-side application.
Open WhatsApp API reference1. Ask for a window
GET /getwa/synchronisation/?apikey=YOUR_API_KEY
2. Check the expiry
The response includes expire_at and expire_at_unix, which tell you how long the request remains valid.
3. Retrieve recovered messages
GET /getwa/?apikey=YOUR_API_KEY&message_type=text
4. Use only what you need
Filter, store or route recovered messages in accordance with your own privacy and consent obligations.
BUILD A USEFUL NEXT STEP
Recovered messages can support the workflow you already use.
Customer support
Bring recovered customer questions into a support queue while keeping the original WhatsApp context available.
CRM follow-up
Use recovered replies to update a contact workflow or help a team continue a conversation in the right place.
Operational alerts
Detect a new customer message after a requested synchronization and notify the responsible team.
Private reporting
Measure response themes or service load from the data your own account explicitly requested.
CONTROLLED BY DESIGN
Why synchronization must be requested.
Incoming-message collection is not an uncontrolled, permanent harvesting process. A synchronization request is required before SMSMobileAPI checks for new received WhatsApp messages. The window expires, so request another one when you need to collect newer activity. Recovery time can vary according to connection state, conversation volume and the WhatsApp session.
MAKE INCOMING WHATSAPP USEFUL
Your received WhatsApp messages—available when you request them, usable where you work.
Connect the account, enable collection, request a synchronization and use the secure dashboard or documented API to build your own workflow around recovered incoming messages.
