    Check your mobile in the dashboard

    Confirm that the intended phone is connected and can send an ordinary SMS.

    Copy your SMSMobileAPI API key

    Use the key belonging to the account whose mobile should send and receive messages. Keep it private.

    Start the secure connection

    Open the protected connection page and continue to the official GoHighLevel authorization screen.

    Authorize the correct sub-account

    Select the GHL workspace where your contacts and conversations are stored.

    Choose SMSMobileAPI in the conversation

    Open a contact, check the full international number and select SMSMobileAPI in the channel selector.

    Verify an outgoing SMS and an incoming reply

    Send a short test, reply to the sending number and confirm that the reply appears under the same GHL contact.

Useful checks before contacting support.

The message appears in GHL but no SMS arrives

Check the chosen channel, recipient number, mobile connection, SIM and SMSMobileAPI sending log. A queued request is not yet proof of delivery.

The phone received a reply, but GHL has not shown it

Check received-SMS permissions and connectivity on the mobile first. Then verify the GHL transfer log, linked sub-account and contact number.

Can I use several connected mobiles?

Yes, according to your account capacity. Test each mobile and incoming route before using it for a customer workflow.
