SMSMobileAPI can now automatically convert WhatsApp voice messages into text, making it even easier to integrate incoming WhatsApp conversations into your workflows and automations.

Every received WhatsApp voice message is automatically transcribed and the resulting text is available directly in the Dashboard logs as well as through the API endpoints.

This makes it possible to process voice messages just like standard text messages, allowing your CRM, AI assistant, automation platform, or custom application to immediately understand and use the content without having to handle audio files separately.

Calendly is now connected to SMSMobileAPI!

You can now link your Calendly account directly from your SMSMobileAPI dashboard and send SMS notifications to your contacts for upcoming appointments.

Setup is simple and fast:

Connect your Calendly account, configure your SMS notifications, and SMSMobileAPI will handle the rest.

Keep your contacts informed automatically and reduce missed appointments with SMS reminders sent directly from your mobile device.

New API endpoints are now available to permanently delete SMSMobileAPI activity logs directly through API requests.

These new endpoints make it easier to automate log management, integrate cleanup operations into your own applications, and maintain better control over your SMSMobileAPI account data.

Note: Deleting the call rule execution history only removes the execution logs. Your configured call rules are not deleted.

We added a powerful new endpoint, /conversation/sms/list/, to make SMS conversation retrieval easier and more structured. You can now list conversations by phone number, view both incoming and outgoing messages in one timeline, filter results by number or date, and use resume mode for quick conversation previews. The endpoint also supports both received and sent as conversation starting points and automatically adjusts outgoing message dates based on the message time zone when available.

SMS sent through the standard https://api.smsmobileapi.com/sendsms/ endpoint may also appear in this log because they are sent from the mobile device.

A new menu is now available in the dashboard to view SMS sent directly from the mobile device, even when they were not sent through the SMSMobileAPI sending API. The existing log for SMS sent through the API via the mobile remains available as before. This new log is dedicated to SMS sent from the mobile itself, without using the https://api.smsmobileapi.com/sendsms/ endpoint, provided the option is enabled in the mobile app. For privacy and compliance, these messages are encrypted and anonymized.

A new visual Activity Timeline is now available in the dashboard. It transforms raw logs into a clear and modern timeline view, showing SMS received, SMS sent, missed calls, incoming calls, and outgoing calls over a selected period. Activity can be viewed per connected mobile, in a unified view, or under an unidentified mobile section when older app versions did not provide a device identifier. For the best experience and the most accurate device tracking, please use SMSMobileAPI app version 4.1.18.0 or later.

SMSMobileAPI now lets you retrieve and manage outgoing calls made from your mobile phone. Track call activity in your dashboard and use API access to integrate call logs into your workflows, analytics, or external tools.

A new feature is now available in both the dashboard and the API: automatic conversion of all long URLs inside your SMS messages into short, clean Urlz.li links. This improves readability, saves characters, and gives your messages a more professional appearance.
You can enable the feature directly from the dashboard via the new dropdown option, or activate it through the API by adding shorturl=1 to your request.

When you receive an email informing you that a new SMS has arrived, you’ll also see a secure “Reply to this SMS” button. By clicking this button, you can answer the SMS straight from your inbox, without needing to open the dashboard or your phone.
