A new menu is now available in the dashboard to view SMS sent directly from the mobile device, even when they were not sent through the SMSMobileAPI sending API. The existing log for SMS sent through the API via the mobile remains available as before. This new log is dedicated to SMS sent from the mobile itself, without using the https://api.smsmobileapi.com/sendsms/ endpoint, provided the option is enabled in the mobile app. For privacy and compliance, these messages are encrypted and anonymized.

A new visual Activity Timeline is now available in the dashboard. It transforms raw logs into a clear and modern timeline view, showing SMS received, SMS sent, missed calls, incoming calls, and outgoing calls over a selected period. Activity can be viewed per connected mobile, in a unified view, or under an unidentified mobile section when older app versions did not provide a device identifier. For the best experience and the most accurate device tracking, please use SMSMobileAPI app version 4.1.18.0 or later.

NEW (Important): Bulk SMS Campaigns Page
Description: A new important page is now available to send Bulk SMS campaigns in an easy yet powerful way. You can split the sending workload across multiple connected mobiles to share the delivery flow.

A new feature is now available in both the dashboard and the API: automatic conversion of all long URLs inside your SMS messages into short, clean Urlz.li links. This improves readability, saves characters, and gives your messages a more professional appearance.
You can enable the feature directly from the dashboard via the new dropdown option, or activate it through the API by adding shorturl=1 to your request.
If you connect your personal Urlz.li API key, all shortened links will also appear in your Urlz.li dashboard with full click-tracking and analytics.

It is now possible to reply to your SMS directly from the notification email you receive.
When you receive an email informing you that a new SMS has arrived, you’ll also see a secure “Reply to this SMS” button. By clicking this button, you can answer the SMS straight from your inbox, without needing to open the dashboard or your phone.

A brand new menu "Missed Call → Options & Rules" has been added to your dashboard.
This menu allows you to configure advanced settings for missed call management:

📞 Forward missed calls to another number – Automatically redirect a missed call alert to a phone number of your choice.

📧 Forward missed calls to email addresses – Define up to 4 email addresses that will receive an alert each time a call is missed.

✉️ Automatic reply for missed calls – Enable an auto-reply SMS with your custom message, valid within a defined date/time range.

🚫 Rules & restrictions – Exclude specific numbers, block short numbers, and ensure only the right contacts get auto-replies.

This feature ensures you never miss important opportunities and provides full control directly from your SMSMobileAPI dashboard.

A brand new menu called "Missed Call" has been added to the dashboard.
This menu allows you to easily list and view all missed calls synchronized from your mobile app.

New Feature: Added a "Chat Live SMS" button in the dashboard. You can now track sent and received SMS in real time with a conversation-style view for easier reading and management.

In the dashboard, under the main menu "SMS Messages" > "Options & Rules", a new feature has been added in the "Rules for Failed SMS Messages" tab. You can now define a secondary SMS Gateway to ensure message delivery if the SMS cannot be sent via the SMSMobileAPI mobile app. This provides an added layer of reliability, allowing messages to be sent through an alternative gateway even when the mobile app is unavailable.

A new menu is now available that allows you to manage your contact groups with ease.
You can create multiple contact groups, edit their names and descriptions, and add contacts to each group individually, through a multiline input, or by importing a CSV file.
This feature gives you full control over organizing your contacts and is fully integrated with your account.

It is now possible to disconnect a phone directly from the dashboard, under the WhatsApp configuration menu.
This allows users to safely terminate the connection between a phone and SMSMobileAPI, either to stop using it or to link a new mobile phone.
The disconnection process removes all active connections and updates the database accordingly.

If you're using your own ChatGPT account connected to WhatsApp via SMS Mobile API, you can now track your token usage directly from the dashboard!
See how many tokens are consumed in each interaction, monitor your usage in real-time, and stay in control of your OpenAI credits.
This new feature gives you full transparency, whether you're using a provided ChatGPT account or your own.

When sending a WhatsApp message via the dashboard, a new field is now available to enter the media URL through the 'URL of the media' field.

Now, from the list of sent WhatsApp messages, if a message has an error status, a button is available to resend the WhatsApp.

You can now receive automated daily reports via email, providing detailed insights into your SMS activity.

We have added a new feature in the dashboard under the Profile menu that allows users to select their time zone. This enhancement provides better clarity and tracking of the date and time of sent SMS messages.

By default, the time zone is set to UTC, but you can now adjust it to match your local time for improved reporting and scheduling accuracy.
